Apple is wrong

Filed under: Everyday — Isamu @ 12:25 am

There have been countless bulls and heavy bashing from the Apple side, who coincidentally sucks at market share. High priced products? Of course, they need money to support the collapsing building. Why all the hate from Apple? Simple, it will gain you controversy which will give you popularity, it’s one big ad.

4. 114,000 Viruses? Not on a Mac.
Mac OS X was designed with security in mind. Windows just wasn’t built to bear the onslaught of attacks it suffers every day. A Mac offers a built-in firewall, doesn’t advertise its existence on the Net, and isn’t compromised within an hour of being turned on.

Excuse me? No, it wasn’t close to being built with security in mind. For the record, Windows XP has a built in firewall too. You really wanna know why there aren’t much viruses for Macs? Easy..

Viruses are made with mass scale damage or interruption in mind, it’s not worth the time and research for virus writers when the target audience is rather small. Windows is mainly affected because EVERYONE uses Windows.

There are numerous different reasons about Macs and viruses, but that is the most obvious one.

5. Next year’s OS today.
Since Mac OS X engineers aren’t busy damming a flood of viruses, they have the time to think up amazing new technology. Like Dashboard widgets, mini-applications offering a world of capabilities just a keystroke away. Or a built-in RSS news reader.

Interesting? Maybe. Next year’s OS? Nope. Stupid? YES.

Really, they have hit ROCK BOTTOM. Considered to be a software giant of their own, Apple is peculiarly petty for including that. What much do you have to brag about Dashboard widgets? It’s really NOTHING new but mini programs running on your desktop, they are no different from the real programs that can run dedicatively. Wow Apple, a built-in RSS news reader.. BIG DEAL.

I won’t start on the other things listed, because it’s just Apple trying to squeeze even the smallest of their limited advantage to PCs and Windows.

Try harder Apple.

The greatest anthems ever

Filed under: Sometimes — Isamu @ 1:01 am

You know I love music right? So why not make up a list of music that’s sure to click with most people.

The Corrs - The Best of The Corrs (album) — lively, spirited and inspirational are the choice words for the Corrs. From songs like Radio and Make You Mine, it’ll bring a warmth to your heart. I’ve been a fan growing up as a kid and they still prove to be awesome.

Fatima Rainey - Hey “I said hey, heya, I’ll love you when the morning comes..”, a popular song among couples and people who just appreciate music.

Cyndi Lauper - Time After Time — This is where the legacy of endless revivals started, from the the woman, although if memory serves right, a bird pooped on her during a show. Moving along, this is one powerful song, it never ceases to give me goosebumps if the moment is right.

Air Supply - The Greatest Hits (album) –WHO DOESN’T LOVE AIR SUPPLY? Even Stewie agrees. Remember All By Myself? Making Love Out of Nothing at All? Try and name a song that didn’t rip your heart out and made your eyes slide out of tears.

Ace of Base - The Sign –”Life’s demanding without understanding..”, remember this hit? The one with the funky sampler background. Why is it in the list? Well it was that good to remain on the top hit list for more than a month!

The Beach Boys - Wouldn’t It Be Nice — I wouldn’t mind putting some of their other songs here, but I like this one the best. Another couple song and a recent hit comeback from the movie 50 First Dates.

David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust — A song about a rockstar, by a rockstar. Ah, to be in rock and roll.. the music, the women and the drugs. A legend, by a legend.

Stevie Wonder - I Just Called To Say I Love You — I just called to say how much I care”, heart pounding and will light up any little quarrel. A must hear.

The Who - Baba O’Riley — “Don’t cry.. don’t raise your eye.. IT’S ONLY TEENAGE WASTELAND!”. I don’t know how much I’ve mentioned but there are songs that give me goosebumps. This is one of them. The lyrics have so much meaning specially to Woodstock 69′, just gives you that jive-feel of being there. - August 20, 2007

Why do I sound so high up in a place where you’d expect cloulds to be?

Filed under: Rare — Isamu @ 2:07 am

I’m never new, maybe my writing style is, but the arrogancy was always there.

You’re all asking, why do I regard myself as someone who knows things and has the world figured out. Maybe I have, but consider this, one’s thoughts is always opinion powered. It wouldn’t be too bad if I knew I maybe a higher being than some of you, no harm done, right?

Bad as I may sound it feels much better when I utter it the way I want you to hear and understand.

Sure, I am a bad person at.. most occasions, but that’s because we all have a different versions of self righteousness installed. Sugar, spice and everything nice for you at point to point may not be for me. If you can’t understand that, stop reading right now, this will get worse.

My aim is never to be the person that wants everyone to hate him, but I do sound in that peculiarity. Oh of course not, I am friendly, the difference between you and me is that I keep it real and you’ve been stuck between a rock and a hard place ever since.

Just what is keeping it real? In the confines of discipline so no one gets the idea that I’m some kind of rebel or anything, it’s basically freedom from imaginary restrictions imposed on you. You’re not supposed to say this, not that, these prevent you from becoming what you might be –get your own personality, it’s free.

Why do I blog when not a lot of people may care? Simple, I love writing, it’s an escape from a busy day or a stressball for nervous energy, some binge eat like a lion in a poultry farm, I furiously write. All this, I do it for myself, but you’re all welcome to my life.

In fact, since I am promoting freedom and restriction of what you think you’re not allowed to say, comment on anything you want said. It maybe bad for your standards, but if it’s really what you want as output for something you read, then go for it.

A stressball, I like that, this blog is my stressball.

I may sound delusional and out there, but screw it.

So you wanna know what grinds my gears?

People who use drugs as a fashion statement, clearly, cone heads. No, nope, no one think’s you’re cool, smart the least. It’s not something you should be proud about nor it’s even worth the long talk of the next pill you’re using to ruin your life to.

Hey, if you want I can draw you all a picture of your slow self destruction, you tools.

Guess what’s even more annoying –people who don’t do drugs but pretend to, apparently it makes people notice you. This is the first ever time I’m bring profanity to this blog but .. in the words of Eric Foreman’s father –”Out of the dumbass things you’ve done, this takes the dumbass cake!”. The next person who even tries to pull something off like that will be kicked in the knee, punched in the elbow and shot where it hurts the most.

If you thought that there might be another tier of idiocy, then you are right. The guy everyone talks about in school –the one with issues. YOU KNOW HIM, you know him good. He makes up imaginary psychological problems and expects you to make him feel like everybody else. Ha idiot, you never left for Neverland.

We know what you’re trying to do, thing is, you suck too much to pull it off.

This is why this blog is awesome, I speak, and they all listen.

The best voice you’ve heard today

Hands down, she has a talent, you know someone sings great when there’s the melody to the song even without the actual music on. I can’t embed the video because she blocked embedding, and there’s really no good reason for that, still, check it out.
